ABOUT

Delicata Consulting supports impact-driven agri-food businesses in their development and long-term sustainability.

Hi! I'm Laura, a social entrepreneur, project starter, educator, and facilitator. I am passionate about the future of our food systems and supporting the people driving needed change now.

For over 20 years, I’ve supported communities, enterprises, and organizations in impact-driven projects focused on social innovation, community development, community economic development, and impact-oriented entrepreneurship, all with one goal: building local food systems that are sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and viable.

As the co-founder of several social enterprises, including Taking Root and Collectif Récolte, and as a collaborator with several foundations, nonprofits, and startups, I’ve developed an expertise in launching and scaling impact-driven ventures.

Through Delicata, I bring this experience to your projects, offering strategic guidance, partnership facilitation, impact frameworks, and compelling communications to help your initiative not only survive but thrive. I also draw on a strong network of partners, coaches, and experts to ensure you get the most relevant and tailored support. I also support cross-Canada projects, programs, and initiatives with their positioning and partnership development within the Québec context and ecosystem.

My approach is simple: understand your needs, share learning, mobilize various networks and resources, co-create tailored solutions, and work together toward a just and sustainable future for food.
